Amino acids in general

Amino acids are the building blocks for the body's own protein and are therefore essential for building and maintaining muscle. However, amino acids not only play an important role in protein metabolism, but are also essential for energy metabolism and the immune system. Most people consume amino acids primarily through their diet in the form of dietary proteins, which are digested and broken down into individual amino acids.

For the synthesis of the body's own proteins, the body is primarily dependent on the supply of the eight essential amino acids. In contrast to non-essential amino acids, essential amino acids (EAA) cannot be produced by the body itself and must therefore be supplied through food or nutritional supplements. The family of essential amino acids also includes the popular BCAAs, which are present in our METAA EAA powder in the popular 2:1:1 ratio. Recommended consumption:

Mix 14 g EAAs (measuring spoon inside) with 500 ml cold water in a shaker and enjoy. It is recommended to consume one serving of 14 g per day. Also ideal as a refreshing drink during or after training.
