BioTech Mega Omega 3, 180 capsules - Dietary supplement in softgel capsule form with 70% EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acid content. Mega Omega 3, in softgel capsule form, contains a particularly high proportion of 70% of fatty acids such as EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) as well as vitamin E. Omega-3 fatty acids are essential fats, which means they cannot be produced by the body itself therefore we need to supply the right amount from external sources. We know different types of omega-3 fatty acids. Their main source is sea fish (cod, tuna, salmon, mackerel, herring), but some plant foods also contain high levels of omega-3 fatty acids (e.g. linseed oil, rapeseed oil). Although it is widely believed that polyunsaturated fatty acids (e.g. fish oil) have positive physiological properties, a common mistake is that we do not consume enough of these types of fats.
