Glucofast is a modern carbohydrate polymer made from corn starch that can be used as an effective energy source in all sports (endurance sports, bodybuilding, team sports). What can I expect from Glucofast?
Glucofast is a carbohydrate supplement that provides you with large amounts of energy in a neutral flavor, making it ideal for energy supply before and during training. Taken after an intense workout, it also helps replenish your muscle glycogen stores.*
By adding Glucofast to supplements (creatine, free amino acids, protein) you can increase their effectiveness. The training times (e.g. post-workout shake) are particularly useful here. If you consume Glucofast before heavy meals, you may gain weight.
However, overall muscle building can only take place with a sufficient and, if possible, constant supply of amino acids, which is not guaranteed by Glucofast. Make sure you also get fast (especially in the morning after getting up, before and after training) and slow proteins.
Functionality and mode of action of Glucofast
Glucofast is a medium molecular carbohydrate polymer. It is hydrolyzed from corn starch and is one of the maltodextrins. The product has a glycemic index of GI 115 and is therefore a quickly available source of energy.
In addition, the carbohydrates contained in Glucofast ensure that normal muscle function or contraction is restored after intensive and/or long-term training that has caused muscle fatigue and also depleted muscle glycogen stores.*
The low osmolarity of 100 mOsm/kg sol. of Glucofast – unlike dextrose, for example – also makes it possible to absorb large quantities. The functionalities mentioned mean that Glucofast is an elementary component of post-workout care in strength, bodybuilding and endurance sports.
For better effectiveness, Glucofast is optimized with a vitamin complex made up of 10 vitamins, which act as regulators in the organism and have a wide range of benefits. What should be emphasized here is their properties in terms of supporting normal energy metabolism and reducing tiredness and fatigue.
* Carbohydrates have been shown to contribute to the restoration of normal muscle function (contraction) when consumed after intense and/or long-term physical exercise that has resulted in muscle fatigue and depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscles. This effect occurs if 4g of carbohydrates per kg/body weight are consumed within the first 4 to a maximum of 6 hours after the aforementioned exercise.
Recommended consumption
Dissolve 50 g of Glucofast (approx. 5 tablespoons / approx. 2 measuring spoons) in 250 ml of water or fruit juice and drink it before, during or after physical exertion. You can also adjust and increase or decrease the amount of Glucofast to suit your individual needs.
Ingredients
Maltodextrin (99.8%), vitamin mixture (ascorbic acid, nicotinic acid amide, alpha-tocopheryl acetate, calcium D-pantothenate, thiamine nitrate, riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, folic acid, biotin, cyanocobalamin).
Hints:
