ISOTONIC: DOES IT EVEN NEED TO BE?
One thing is clear: Anyone who exercises sweats - and whoever sweats loses fluids and minerals. For sporting activities lasting less than an hour, a sip from the water bottle is enough, but after that you need special drinks as an additional boost, which are called isotonic. A decisive factor is a rather inconspicuous electrolyte that literally turns your sports drink into premium gasoline and ensures that the liquid can be absorbed quickly: sodium!
In addition, the body not only loses fluid during exercise, it also uses up a lot of carbohydrates. It is therefore important to ensure supplies here too. Because if the blood sugar level drops, there is a risk of so-called starvation - and the dreaded man with the hammer can put an abrupt end to the hard workout.
Ingredients: 87.4% carbohydrate mix (sugar, maltodextrin, glucose, fructose), acidity regulator - malic acid, 3.1% minerals (sodium chloride, potassium salt of orthophosphoric acid, calcium salt of orthophosphoric acid, sodium citrate, magnesium carbonate), thickener - gum arabic, flavors, 1.1% L-glutamine, 0.3% L-carnitine, 0.23% vitamins (L-ascorbic acid - Vit. C, dl-alpha-tocopheryl acetate - Vit. E, nicotinic acid - niacin, D-biotin, retinyl acetate - Vitamin A, calcium D-pantothenate - pantothenic acid, pyridoxine hydrochloride - Vitamin B6, cholecalciferol - Vitamin D, pteroylmonoglutamic acid - folic acid, thiamine mononitrate - Vitamin B1, riboflavin - Vitamin B2, cyanocobalamin - Vitamin B12), sweeteners - sucralose , acesulfame K; Coloring agents: riboflavin (for lemon flavor), beta-carotene (for orange flavor), E133 (for tropical blue flavor).
Recommended consumption: Mix 1 tablespoon (17.5 g = 2 level tablespoons) of powder in 250 ml of water and drink as needed, especially during and after training. The recommended daily dose should not be exceeded. Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet.
